An Independent Special School in Chester is seeking a Learning Mentor to provide tailored support to young people with autism and additional learning needs. The role involves working with pupils both individually and in groups to help them overcome barriers to learning. Based in the heart of Chester City Centre, Abbey School is an Independent Special School for young people with autism aged 4-19 years whom may have additional learning difficulties and behaviours that challenge.
As a Learning Mentor, you will play a key role in providing tailored support to pupils with special educational needs. Your work will be instrumental in helping these young people achieve their full potential and overcome challenges in their educational journey. This is a permanent, full-time post (term‑time only), and we are seeking to appoint as soon as possible.
