  • Pay: According to your teaching scale + TLR for subject leadership


About the School

A Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) that provides education for students aged 5 to 16 who are unable to attend mainstream school. The centre supports a small cohort of approximately 35 to 36 pupils. It has been rated 'Good' in all evaluated areas by Ofsted and offers a tailored, supportive environment to meet the diverse needs of its learners.


What We're Looking For


  • A qualified Teacher with experience working in SEN or SEMH settings

  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and coordinate the English curriculum

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Confidence in planning and delivering differentiated lessons

  • A creative, hands-on approach to teaching practical subjects

  • An understanding of trauma-informed practice and supporting disengaged learners


Essential Requirements


  • QTS or QTLS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)

  • At least 1 year of experience teaching students with SEN/SEMH

  • A valid Enhanced DBS (Child & Adult Workforce) registered on the Update Service

  • Two recent professional references (ideally from an education setting)
