Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting Behaviour Mentors to support SEMH schools and specialist settings across Crawley. You will work with pupils who may present with social, emotional and mental health needs, trauma-related behaviours, anxiety and attachment difficulties.

• Experience supporting vulnerable young people in education or care settings.
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills, with a calm, professional approach.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with pupils, families and staff.
• Resilience, flexibility and commitment to pupil wellbeing.

• Supporting behaviour within the classroom and around the school.
• De-escalating incidents using restorative approaches.
