Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting a full-time Behaviour Support Mentor to join a specialist SEMH setting in Forest Hall. You will support pupils who face barriers to learning due to social, emotional and behavioural challenges, helping them engage positively with education and school life.

You’ll collaborate with pastoral teams, deliver 1:1 mentoring, and promote positive behaviour and resilience as part of daily classroom routines.

Qualifications

• Experience working with pupils facing SEMH challenges.
• Ability to support emotional regulation strategies in classroom settings.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of pupils.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with pupils.
• Support emotional regulation strategies in lessons.
• Encourage engagement within lessons and activities.
• Promote positive behaviour and decision-making.
• Deliver 1:1 mentoring sessions.
• Support pupils during challenging situations.
