Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting a full-time Behaviour Support Mentor to join a specialist SEMH setting in Forest Hall. You will support pupils facing social, emotional and behavioural challenges, helping them engage with lessons and build positive routines.

The role focuses on building positive relationships, promoting emotional regulation and collaboration with pastoral teams. There is access to ongoing training, CPD resources and long-term opportunities within local schools.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH challenges.
• Ability to build relationships and promote positive behaviour.
• Safeguarding training or willingness to complete.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with pupils.
• Support emotional regulation strategies.
• Encourage engagement within lessons.
• Promote positive behaviour and decision-making.
• Deliver 1:1 mentoring sessions.
• Support pupils during challenging situations.
• Work closely with pastoral teams.
