Job summary

Wilds Lodge School in Empingham, Rutland, is seeking a Positive Relationships Mentor to support learners with SEMH and ASD. You will build trusting relationships, motivate and engage learners, and provide consistent emotional and pastoral support to help them develop resilience and social skills.

The role involves developing and delivering behaviour management strategies, delivering 1:1 and small group support, and helping staff apply approved approaches.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with behavioural difficulties
• Knowledge of SEMH and ASD strategies
• Valid driving licence and business insurance
• Ability to deliver 1:1 and small group sessions

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance staff behaviour management skills across the school
• Implement agreed strategies to manage and improve learner behaviour
• Deliver 1:1 and small group behaviour support as required
