Role Overview
Storm Technologies is seeking a dynamic and driven Security Sales Specialist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of our security solutions portfolio, engaging with clients to understand their business needs, and delivering tailored solutions that safeguard their operations. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for security solutions within both existing and prospective clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including IT managers, CISOs, and decision-makers.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients’ security requirements and recommend appropriate products and services.
- Present, demonstrate, and articulate the value proposition of Storm Technologies’ security offerings, including network security, endpoint protection, cloud security, and compliance solutions.
- Work closely with the technical pre-sales team to deliver tailored proposals and solutions.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the security business unit.
- Keep up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
- Represent Storm Technologies at industry events, seminars, and networking opportunities.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates for management.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven track record in IT sales, is desirable and ideally with a focus on security solutions.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, products, and market trends is also desirable.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with a diverse range of clients.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and engaging with senior decision-makers.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in IT sales, with exposure to security solutions.
