Job summary

Kingdom Services Group is recruiting a professional Retail Security Officer to join our team at Poundstretcher Hayes in Hayes, UB3 3NB. You will provide a highly visible security presence, deter theft, and deliver excellent customer service in-store.

The role is permanent and part of a 30-hour week, Thursday to Sunday, with shifts from 11:00 to 19:00 on Thursdays to Saturdays and 11:00 to 17:00 on Sundays.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence is essential.
• Must have own transport.
• Previous retail security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and visible security presence within the store.
• Deter theft, anti-social behaviour, and other security-related incidents.
• Conduct regular patrols of the store and surrounding areas.
• Respond to incidents professionally and in line with company procedures.
• Deliver excellent customer service to customers and colleagues.
• Complete accurate incident reports and relevant documentation.
• Support store management with loss prevention initiatives.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at all times.

We are seeking an experienced Security Officer who can provide a highly visible security presence within the store, helping to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, colleagues, and visitors. The successful candidate will be professional, approachable, and confident in dealing with a variety of situations while delivering excellent customer service at all times.

Shift Pattern

• 30 Hours Per Week
• Thursday - Sunday
• Thursday, Friday & Saturday: 11:00 - 19:00
• Sunday: 11:00 - 17:00
• Flexibility may be required to meet operational requirements.

The ideal applicant will possess strong observational skills, excellent attention to detail, good timekeeping, and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure whilst working both independently and as part of a team.
