Kingdom Group is recruiting for a professional, reliable Retail Security Officer to join our team at Poundstretcher Leyton, London. You will provide a highly visible security presence, deter theft, and deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a safe environment.

The role requires an SIA Door Supervisor Licence, own transport, and prior retail security experience is preferred. Shift pattern is 38 hours weekly with fixed days Wed-Sun.

Location: Poundstretcher Leyton, 832-836 High Road, Leyton, London, E10 6AE
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 38 Hours per Week
Contract: Permanent

About the Role

Kingdom Group is recruiting for a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Security Officer to join our team at Poundstretcher Leyton. We are seeking an experienced Security Officer who can provide a highly visible security presence within the store, helping to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, colleagues, and visitors. The successful candidate will be professional, approachable, and confident in dealing with a variety of situations while delivering excellent customer service at all times.

Shift Pattern

• 38 Hours Per Week
• Wednesday - Sunday
• Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 11:00 - 19:00
• Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 - 17:00
• Flexibility may be required to meet operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and visible security presence within the store.

Skills and Experience Required

A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence is essential for this role, and candidates must have their own transport. Previous retail security experience is preferred, along with excellent communication and customer service skills. Candidates must be professional, reliable, and confident when dealing with members of the public. The ideal applicant will possess strong observational skills, excellent attention to detail, good timekeeping, and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure whilst working both independently and as part of a team.
