Poundstretcher, Luton, is recruiting a Retail Security Officer on behalf of Kingdom Group. You will provide a visible security presence, deter theft, assist customers, and uphold a welcoming store environment.

Working 30 hours per week at Poundstretcher, Marsh Road, Luton, you will follow store procedures, complete incident reports, and collaborate with the store team. A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence and reliable transport are required.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
• Own transport is essential.
• Full five-year checkable employment history.

Responsabilités

• Providing a visible security presence within the store.
• Conducting internal and external patrols.
• Preventing theft, loss, and anti-social behaviour.
• Responding professionally to incidents and emergencies.
• Completing Daily Occurrence Book (DOB) entries and incident reports.
• Monitoring store activity and identifying potential security risks.
• Supporting store management and staff when required.
• Delivering excellent customer service to customers and visitors.
• Ensuring all site security procedures are followed.
• Maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment.

If you hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence, have excellent customer service skills, and are looking for a permanent role with a reputable security provider, we'd love to hear from you.

Hours & Shift Pattern

30 Hours Per Week

Days of Work:

• Monday: 11:00 - 19:00
• Wednesday: 11:00 - 19:00
• Friday: 11:00 - 19:00
• Sunday: 10:00 - 16:00

Pay Rate

£12.71 per hour

About the Role

As a Retail Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for customers, colleagues, and visitors while delivering excellent customer service. You will provide a highly visible security presence, help reduce stock loss, deter theft and anti-social behaviour, and support the store team in creating a safe shopping experience.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence

• The ability to remain calm under pressure
• A full five-year checkable employment history
• Previous retail security experience is desirable but not essential
