Kingdom Group is recruiting for a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Security Officer to join our team at Poundstretcher Edmonton Green.

The role involves providing a highly visible security presence, deterring theft and incidents, and delivering excellent customer service. You will patrol the store, report incidents, and support loss prevention while maintaining a safe environment for staff and customers.

Qualifications

• A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence is essential for this role.
• Candidates must have their own transport.
• Experience in retail security is preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional, reliable and confident when dealing with the public.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and visible security presence within the store.
• Deter theft, anti-social behaviour, and other security-related incidents.
• Conduct regular patrols of the store and surrounding areas.

Retail Security Officer

Location: Poundstretcher Edmonton Green, N9 0TZ
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 24 Hours per week
Contract: Permanent

About the Role

Kingdom Group is recruiting for a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Security Officer to join our team at Poundstretcher Edmonton Green.

We are seeking an experienced Security Officer who can provide a highly visible security presence within the store, helping to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, colleagues, and visitors. The successful candidate will be professional, approachable, and confident in dealing with a variety of situations while delivering excellent customer service at all times.

Shift Pattern

• 24 Hours Per Week
• Thursday - Saturday
• Thursday, Friday & Saturday: 12:00 - 20:00
• Flexibility may be required to meet operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and visible security presence within the store.

Candidates must be professional, reliable, and confident when dealing with members of the public. The ideal applicant will possess strong observational skills, excellent attention to detail, good timekeeping, and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure whilst working both independently and as part of a team.
