Job summary

Haven is seeking a Security Manager to lead our security team, ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests and staff at our holiday park/resort locations. The role balances hands-on leadership with strategic oversight of budgets, resources, and compliance with health and safety standards.

You will drive performance, deliver coaching, and develop the team while maintaining high security standards and guest satisfaction, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Security Management role, preferably in a holiday park, resort, or customer service environment.
• Valid SIA Door Supervisors (DS) License.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of security protocols, procedures and health and safety regulations
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Experience in budgeting and financial management.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support the team to deliver excellent service and achieve targets.
• Guest Experience: Ensure top-tier guest satisfaction by addressing concerns, improving service, and driving a welcoming atmosphere.
• Performance Management: Monitor individual and team performance, providing regular feedback, coaching, and conducting performance reviews.
• Resource Management: Overseeteam scheduling, budgets, and resources to maximise efficiency and meet business needs.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations, company policies, and standards, including maintaining and reviewing the Park Security Plan, Security Risk Assessments and Instructions.
• Problem Solving: Quickly resolve any operational issues that arise, ensuring smooth day-to-day running.
• Training and Development: Supportteam development through ongoing training, mentoring, and creating growth opportunities.
