Job summary

EKFB is recruiting a Section Engineer to join our ancillary civils team at Greatworth. You will manage junior engineers, report to the Sub Agent, and supervise the site engineering team from construction to close out, coordinating with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials.

You’ll also assist with temporary works design schemes and contribute to programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and financial forecasting, ensuring work meets the required

Qualifications

• HNC/Degree or equivalent in construction/civil engineering and working towards ICE membership.
• Experience in site engineering activities with construction supervision skills.
• Ancillary Civils experience is desirable.
• Must have own transport to attend site(s) in remote areas; full driving licence required.
• CSCS White/White-Yellow/Red — Experienced, Black — Manager or Gold — Supervisor competencies held.

Responsibilities

• Manage junior engineers and assist Sub Agent in construction operations.
• Supervise site engineering team from construction to close out and liaise on temporary works design schemes.
• Coordinate labour, plant and materials to meet standards, programme and budget.
• Monitor subcontractors to ensure performance meets contractual requirements.
• Assist with programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and financial forecasting.
