Job summary

EKFB is recruiting a Section Engineer for the Buckingham area. You will report to the Sub Agent, supervising the site engineering team from construction to close out and assisting with temporary works design schemes.

You will liaise with Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials, monitor subcontractors and ensure the works meet contractual standards, programme and budget.

Qualifications

• HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering) or equivalent and working towards ICE membership.
• Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities with construction supervision skills.
• Experience in Structures and/or Highways is essential for this role.
• SMSTS or SSSTS
• CSCS White, White/Yellow, Red-Experienced, Black-Manager or Gold-Supervisor card.
• Full driving license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Report to Sub Agent and supervise the site engineering team from construction to close out.
• Assist with temporary works design schemes.
• Allocate labour, plant and materials to carry out works to the required standards, programme and budget.
• Monitor and coordinate subcontractors to meet contractual requirements.
• Ensure the team has current information and resources; assist with programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and financial forecasting.
