Job summary

EKFB is recruiting for a Section Engineer to join the Buckingham area team. You will report to the Sub Agent and supervise the site engineering team from construction to close out, assisting with temporary works design schemes and coordinating labour, plant and materials to meet standards and budget.

You will monitor subcontractors, ensure information resources are current, and contribute to programmes, progress reporting and cost plans while supporting financial forecasting.

Qualifications

• HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent and working towards institute membership (ICE).
• Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities with construction supervision skills.
• Experience in Structures and/or Highways is essential for this role.
• You must hold SMSTS or SSSTS and CSCS cards (White/White&Yellow/Red-Experienced/Black-Manger or Gold-Supervisor).
• You must hold a full driving license and have access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the site engineering team from construction to close out, reporting to the Sub Agent.
• Liaise with Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials for works to standards, programme and budget.
• Monitor and coordinate subcontractors to ensure contractual requirements are met and resources are available for duties.
• Assist with production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans and contribute to financial forecasting.
