Job summary

EKFB is seeking a General Foreman to oversee a major section of works from our Southam base. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, ensure safe delivery within budget and schedule, and uphold EKFB SHEQ standards on site.

You will coordinate day-to-day activities, supervise Foremen and Supervisors, run toolbox talks, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with method statements. A strong background in civils, with CSCS and SMSTS, is essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience on large multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects with supervisory experience.
• Good understanding of concrete civils and drainage.
• Excellent communication, organisational, planning, time and team management skills.
• CSCS supervisor card
• SMSTS qualification
• Driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of the section safely, within budget and non-conformance free.
• Schedule, coordinate and supervise the works; mentor site operatives.
• Lead by example, manage Foremen/Supervisors; implement EKFB policies and SHEQ requirements.
• Carry out and record site inspections; inductions and toolbox talks; monitor training requirements.
• Order and manage hired/internal equipment; coordinate delivery and materials; drive progress and minimise costs.
• Produce daily site documents (diaries, allocation sheets, requisitions).
