Job summary

EKFB is recruiting a Site Engineer with Earthworks experience to join our Brackley area team, liaising with Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials to meet standards, schedule and budget.

You will lead the setting-out team, guide junior engineers, and resolve technical on-site issues in coordination with senior staff, while coordinating subcontractors to meet contractual requirements and contributing to programmes and forecasts.

Qualifications

• HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent and working towards institute membership (ICE).
• Experience in Earthworks is essential for this role.
• Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills.
• CSCS card required (Black, Gold, White, White/Yellow, Red Experienced).
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials to carry out works activities to the required standards, programme and budget.
• Responsible for work with the other team members of the setting-out team and for the performance and development of the junior engineers and for identifying and resolving technical problems on site in liaison with the senior team and Sub-Agent.
• Monitor and coordinate subcontractors in the performance of their works, ensuring they are completed to the contractual requirements.
• Assist with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans and contribute to financial forecasting.
