Job summary

EKFB is seeking a Site Engineer to join the team on a major HS2 civil engineering works package, based near Greatworth. The role oversees on-site setting out and coordination of M&E activities with Sub-Agents and Foremen to ensure delivery on time, to budget and to exacting standards.

You will support the team with programmes, progress reports and cost plans while ensuring resource availability and effective subcontractor management. BPSS clearance may be required during onboarding.

Qualifications

  • HNC/Degree (Construction/M&E) or equivalent.
  • CSCS card held (White/Yellow/Red/Black/Gold).
  • Experience in highways or structures.
  • Knowledge of site engineering activities with supervision skills.
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • BPSS security clearance may be required on onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Lead setting out and coordinate labour, plant and materials for M&E works.
  • Liaise with Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate resources.
  • Oversee performance and development of M&E Sub-Contractors on site.
  • Produce programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans.
  • Contribute to financial forecasting and ensure timely delivery.
