Job summary

EKFB is recruiting a Section Engineer with Earthworks experience for a role based in the Brackley area. You will report to the Sub Agent and supervise the site engineering team from construction through to project close-out, coordinating with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials.

You will also assist with temporary works design schemes, manage the setting-out team, and resolve technical issues on site in liaison with the Sub-Agent.

Qualifications

• HNC/Degree in Construction or Civil Engineering or equivalent (ICE membership preferred).
• Proven site engineering knowledge with construction supervision skills.
• Experience in utilities, earthworks, heavy structures or drainage is essential.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Sub Agent and supervise the site engineering team from construction to close out.
• Assist with temporary works design schemes and allocate labour, plant and materials.
• Manage setting-out team and develop Site Engineers; resolve technical problems on site.
• Coordinate subcontractors to meet contractual requirements and programme.
