Job summary

EKFB is recruiting a Section Engineer with structures experience to join our Brackley-based team. You will manage junior engineers, support the Sub Agent in construction operations, and supervise site engineering from start to close-out.

You will help with temporary works design, coordinate labour, plant, and materials, and ensure activities meet standards, schedule, and budget. You’ll lead the site setting-out team and support programme and cost forecasting.

Qualifications

• HNC/Degree in Construction/Civil Engineering or equivalent and working toward ICE membership.
• Knowledge and practical application of site engineering activities with construction supervision.
• Experience in structures is essential; SMSTS and CSCS required; driving licence needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage junior engineers and assist the Sub Agent in construction operations.
• Report to the Sub Agent and supervise the site engineering team from construction to close out.
• Assist with temporary works design schemes and liaise to allocate labour, plant and materials.
• Monitor and coordinate subcontractors to meet contractual requirements.
• Assist with programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans and contribute to financial forecasting.
