Job summary

EKFB is recruiting a Section Engineer to join the ancillary civils team at Greatworth for HS2 works. You will manage junior engineers, report to the Sub Agent, oversee setting-out, and help allocate labour, plant and materials to meet standards, programme and budget.

You will supervise the site engineering team, resolve on-site technical issues, coordinate with Sub-Agent and Section Foreman, and contribute to programmes, progress reports and cost plans. Pre-employment checks apply.

Qualifications

• HNC/Degree in Construction/Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Working towards ICE membership
• Experience in Ancillary Civils desirable; CSCS card levels listed (White/Yellow/Red/Black/Gold)

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the site engineering team from construction to close out
• Assist the Sub Agent with programmes, resource and cost plans
• Coordinate labour, plant and materials to meet standards, programme and budget
• Monitor subcontractors to ensure works meet contractual requirements
• Ensure team has resources and information to carry out duties; contribute to progress and cost forecasts
