Job summary

Marston’s PLC is seeking a Second Chef to join our kitchen team. Working alongside the Head Chef, you’ll help run the kitchen day to day, keep service moving, and ensure every dish leaves the pass looking and tasting as it should.

We’re looking for someone with branded kitchen experience, the ability to run the line during service, and a passion for maintaining the highest standards of food and service. Join a friendly, lively pub environment with real progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous branded experience in a similar role or as a Commis Chef.
• Assist Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.
• Accountable for running the line during service.
• Oversee and develop the kitchen team and their skills.
• Maintain high standards of food and service.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Head Chef to run the kitchen day to day.
• Keep service moving and ensure dishes leave the pass on spec.
• Support the line during busy periods to maintain pace.
