Job summary

Francesca's Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Business Development Manager to own the Scotland territory, driving revenue through technical sales of weighing, sensor and data‑acquisition solutions. You will operate with high autonomy, managing new and existing accounts across industrial sectors and helping shape growth opportunities in a fast‑growing field.

The role offers an attractive base salary of £40,000 with uncapped OTE of £55,000–£65,000, a company car, and full field support.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales across sensors, data acquisition, IT or hardware‑integrated systems.
• Strong understanding of how data, software and hardware combine in industrial solutions.
• Commercially sharp, resilient and proactive.

Responsibilities

• New Business Development — Win new customers across industrial, plant, waste and recycling sectors.
• Technical Sales — Specify weighing, sensor and data‑acquisition solutions from simple installations to full system integrations.
• Territory Management — Manage the Scotland region independently.
• Account Growth — Strengthen existing relationships and increase product penetration.
• Client Re‑activation — Rebuild dormant accounts and convert them into revenue.
