Francesca's Recruitment Ltd in Scotland is seeking a Business Development Manager to own the Scotland territory, driving new business and bridging hardware, software and IT systems with real-world industrial applications.

This high-impact role offers a £40,000 base salary plus uncapped OTE andcarve-out opportunities across multiple industrial sectors, with strong earning potential and field-based autonomy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical sales within sensors, data acquisition or related hardware.
• Understanding of how data, software and hardware combine to create industrial solutions.
• Autonomous, field-based role with territory management experience.
• Strong commercial instincts and a results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• New Business Development — identify, engage and convert new customers across industrial, plant, waste and recycling sectors.
• Technical Sales — specify weighing, sensor and data-acquisition solutions from installations to fully integrated systems.
• Territory Management — own and manage Scotland region with autonomy and full coverage.
• Account Growth — develop existing accounts, increase product penetration and secure repeat business.
• Client Re-activation — rebuild relationships with dormant clients and convert inactive accounts into revenue.
• Sales Achievement — consistently meet and exceed sales targets, driving territory performance.
