Job description

The ideal candidate must have science qualifications up to 'A' level or equivalent and a genuine interest and love of science. They must be proactive and able to work independently in a supportive environment and ideally have experience as a science technician. The job entails preparation and organisation of resources for the smooth operation of science lessons and maintenance of equipment and laboratories. Any previous experience in a similar role will be advantageous but enthusiastic trainees are also invited to apply. Training, development and progression opportunities are encouraged and available for the right person. Share, 37 hours per week term time only plus 2 INSET/Twilights 8.00am - 4.00pm Monday to Thursday / 8.00am - 3.30pm Friday NJC Level 4 Points 8-12 Actual Salary £23,539-£25,035 (FTE £27920-£29694).
