Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Science teacher with a passion for making a difference? The King's School is seeking to appoint an inspirational Science teacher to join our exceptional team. This is an exciting opportunity for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced educator to thrive in a supportive, high-achieving environment where tradition meets innovation.

One full-time fixed-term maternity cover contract required from 13 April 2026 to 25 April 2027.

Responsibilities

• Has a friendly manner and can communicate effectively with students, colleagues and parents/carers
• Is committed to inspiring a love of science and improving life chances through engaging and challenging lessons.
• Possesses the skills and subject expertise to support students of all abilities and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
• Can work collaboratively as part of a department team while also demonstrating independence and initiative.

Qualifications
