Job summary

V-Recruit are partnered with a major Multi-Academy Trust to recruit a Caretaker/Site Supervisor for a Secondary academy in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. The role is temporary, initially until the end of October, working 37 hours per week on a rota covering early start to late finish.

The position offers £16.15 per hour with accrued holiday pay. Training will be provided for site maintenance tasks, and the successful candidate will support the Premises Manager in maintaining a safe, welcoming

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-trade or site maintenance environments.
• Training will be provided on role specifics.
• Strong focus on safety and safeguarding within a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior of the school and grounds to a high standard.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks as required.
• Set up areas for school events including exams and productions.
• Some cleaning duties as part of the team.
