Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Site Supervisor/Caretaker for a primary school in Chesterfield (S21) on a long-term basis. The role covers opening the school each morning at 7:00am, ensuring readiness for lessons, and returning in the afternoon to secure the site for the end of the day.

The ideal candidate will have experience in site caretaking or facilities roles, be reliable and able to work independently, and have good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Supervisor, Caretaker, Premises assistant or similar role.
• Reliability, punctuality and ability to work independently.
• Experience in a school or educational setting is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Opening and securing the school premises.
• Carrying out routine site checks and basic maintenance tasks.
• Ensuring the site is safe, clean and secure during the day.
• Reporting issues and arranging repairs as required.
• Setting up and moving equipment as needed.
• Closing and securing the site at the end of the day.
