Job summary

Outcomes First Group's Penny Tree School in Birmingham is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the in‑house clinical team. You will deliver bespoke OT assessment and intervention to pupils who may be neurodivergent or have SEMH needs, holding a caseload with support from a designated clinical supervisor and Lead Clinician.

This permanent, full-time role offers 37.5 hours weekly, a salary up to £53,200 DOE, and a generous CPD allowance after probation.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in providing occupational therapy services within a similar setting.
• Experience with neurodivergent pupils and SEMH needs in education settings.
• Solid OT theory knowledge and practical application to support independence.
• Experience working in multi‑professional teams within the designated speciality.
• Ability to work independently in a school environment with initiative.
• Clear and concise report writing skills.
• Interest in sensory integration or SI practice (training in progress or completed).

Responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke occupational therapy assessment and intervention to pupils.
• Hold an OT caseload with support from a clinical supervisor and Lead Clinician.
• Contribute to staff training and consultation as required.
• Work collaboratively with education teams in an educational setting.
