Job summary

St Helens Borough Council is seeking an IT Technician to provide IT support to a large secondary school. The role involves first- and second-line support for staff and students, within a small three-person team, under the guidance of the Network Manager and Senior Engineer.

Experience with end-user devices and AV equipment is desirable. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong customer service skills, be organised, able to prioritise based on impact, and have at least one year in an IT

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year's experience in IT support.
• Experience with Windows PCs, printers, iPads, and audio/visual equipment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 admin is advantageous.
• Good customer service and service desk experience required.
• Flexibility to cover hours between 8:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Provide both first- and second-line IT support to staff and students.
