Job summary

West Norfolk Academies Trust is seeking a 2nd Line IT Technician for Springwood High School. You will ensure ICT facilities across the Trust are available, remotely or via site visits, and support staff, pupils and parents in using ICT to enhance learning.

Ideal candidates will have a solid background in maintaining ICT hardware and software, including Windows Networking, Apple products and Google Chromebooks, with excellent communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of ICT hardware and software maintenance.
• Experience as IT Technician or transferable skills.
• Ability to liaise with staff and students effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICT support across the Trust schools, remotely or on-site.
• Maintain ICT hardware and software to ensure availability for staff and students.
• Assist with configuration, support, servicing and repairs of ICT equipment.
• Manage data backups, security, and disaster recovery planning.
• Support academy IT systems including VLE, website, MS Office and MIS; handle help desk tickets.
