Job summary

Successful School in Ipswich, Suffolk is seeking an IT Support Technician to join the technical team. You will provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to staff and pupils, ensuring reliable access to technology for teaching and daily operations.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting Windows, Microsoft 365 and classroom tech, resolving basic networking issues, installing and maintaining PCs, printers and AV equipment, and supporting IT projects.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in an IT support role.
Good knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365.
Understanding of basic networking.

Responsibilities

Providing 1st and 2nd line IT support to staff and pupils.
Troubleshooting Windows, Microsoft 365 and classroom technology.
Resolving basic networking and connectivity issues.
Installing, configuring and maintaining PCs, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
Supporting interactive whiteboards and other classroom technologies.
Assisting with IT projects, upgrades and equipment deployments.
Managing user accounts, permissions and basic Active Directory tasks.
Supporting software applications used across the school.
Monitoring and resolving hardware and software faults.
Working closely with teachers, support staff and the wider IT team.
