Job summary

West Norfolk Academies Trust requires a 2nd Line IT Technician to support ICT facilities across its schools, including Springwood High School.

You will maintain hardware and software (Windows networking, Apple, Google Chromebooks), assist staff and pupils, and work with the central ICT team to resolve issues. A background as an IT Technician and strong communication are essential. Start ASAP, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

Qualifications

• Experience as an IT Technician or transferable ICT role with resilience and good communication.
• Knowledge of Windows networking, Apple devices, and Google Chromebooks is essential.
• Organisational skills and ability to liaise with staff and students daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICT support across Trust primary schools, remotely or on site.
• Maintain ICT hardware and software, including VLE, MIS, and network equipment.
• Respond to helpdesk tickets and assist with hardware repairs and deployments.
• Mentor junior ICT team members and help manage the ICT roadmap.
