RoarTech Ltd in Shropshire and the West Midlands is seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Desktop Support Technician to join our team. You will learn how professional IT support works in real-world school environments and gain hands-on experience.

You’ll help teachers and staff with Windows and Microsoft 365 issues, prepare laptops, and support classroom devices while completing your apprenticeship training. No prior IT experience is required; curiosity and a proactive attitude are valued.

Qualifications

• No professional IT experience required; genuine interest in IT.
• Basic understanding of Windows and common computer hardware.
• Good communication and patient to help users.
• Willingness to learn and take on responsibility.
• Able to travel to customer school sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Windows, Outlook, Teams, and Microsoft 365 issues at school sites.
• Log and update support tickets and communicate progress.
• Prepare and configure laptops and desktops with approved software.
• Support device enrollment and classroom devices under supervision.
• Follow processes and escalate issues when needed.
