Job summary

RoarTech Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Desktop Support Technician to join our team and learn how professional IT support works in real-world school environments.

You'll work alongside experienced technicians, helping teachers and school staff get the most from their technology, from fixing everyday Windows and Microsoft 365 issues to preparing laptops and supporting classroom devices. You’ll build practical experience while completing your apprenticeship training.

Qualifications

• You don't need previous professional IT experience to apply.
• You should have a genuine interest in IT and technology.
• Basic understanding of Windows, common applications and hardware.

Responsibilities

• Help resolve Windows, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, printer and connectivity issues, remotely or on-site at schools.
• Log and update support tickets, communicate with users throughout issues.
• Prepare and configure laptops/desktops, install approved software, check devices before handing to users.
