Marchant Recruitment is seeking a confident and technically capable 2nd Line IT Support Technician for a Poole-based school. You will provide hands-on technical support to staff and pupils, ensuring reliable IT systems and equipment.

Ideal candidates will have 2nd line experience, solid knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. DBS check is required for this school role.

Qualificações

• Previous experience in an IT support or technical support role.
• Experience providing 2nd line support is highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365 and networking.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a helpful approach to user support.

Responsabilidades

• Providing 1st and 2nd line technical support for staff and pupils.
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and network issues.
• Installing, configuring and maintaining computers, laptops and printers.
• Supporting Microsoft 365, Windows environments and user accounts.
• Assisting with network connectivity, servers and system updates.
• Maintaining IT equipment records and documenting technical issues.
