Part of the charitable organisation’s work is a small, independent school that specialises in supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. They offer full time and personalised placements to 11-16 year olds including as a named provision on a young person’s EHCP and as alternative provision for those referred by their host school. Their mission is to provide a safe, engaging and inclusive environment, whilst reducing inequality and raising aspirations through the use of sports and education.
Through commissioning BARCA’s counselling services the alternative learning provider will further enable students access the school environment and build engagement in education.
