Job summary

Chartwells Independent is recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor who is passionate about exceptional food and world-class customer service, to oversee Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for Chartwells on a part-time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week.

You'll ensure kitchens and service counters run smoothly, help deliver outstanding food experiences, and support teams across the operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious food to high standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to ensure excellent service.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
• Liaise between customers and teams to exceed expectations.
• Train and support teams, leading from the front.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards across all catering and service teams.
