Job summary

Chartwells Independent is recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for Chartwells on a part-time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week.

In this role you will ensure our kitchens and service counters run smoothly, deliver truly exceptional food experiences, and lead and develop teams while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years catering experience.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated individual who is keen to upskill.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable food and customer service.
• Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaising between customers and our culinary and service teams to exceed expectations.
• Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front to enable excellence.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards across all catering and service teams.
