Job summary

Chartwells is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee all catering and service operations on a part-time basis (20 hours per week, 42.6 weeks per year) at our education sites in the UK. You will lead kitchen and service teams to deliver exceptional food and customer service.

You'll manage KPIs with your line manager, uphold health and safety standards, and support team development, while representing Chartwells and maintaining our brand standards across all venues.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of catering experience.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Experience managing teams in a catering environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious food to high standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable service.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image.
• Liaise between customers and teams to exceed expectations.
• Train and support teams, leading from the front.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards across teams.
