Job summary

Chartwells is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee all catering and service operations on a part-time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week. You will ensure kitchens run smoothly, deliver exceptional food experiences, and uphold Chartwells’ brand standards across our education sites in the UK.

You’ll lead teams, monitor KPIs, and champion health and safety while building strong relationships with colleagues and customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years catering experience.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated with a drive to upskill.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to deliver impeccable food and customer service.
• Communicating with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaising between customers and teams to exceed expectations.
• Training and supporting teams to excel in their roles.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards across all catering and service teams.
