Job summary

Chartwells is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee catering and service operations for Chartwells in education. The role is part-time, contracted to 27.5 hours per week, with shifts Mon-Fri Daytimes and 43.7 weeks per year.

You’ll lead kitchen and service teams, ensuring exceptional food and customer service, while monitoring KPIs and maintaining brand standards across all activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to high standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to ensure excellence in food and service.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image.
• Liaise between customers and teams to exceed expectations.
• Train and coach teams to enable excellence in their roles.
• Enforce Health & Safety standards across catering and service teams.
