Overview

Part-Time Catering Assistant
Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Wirral
Contract: Part-time, Term Time Only
Duration: Permanent

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and service of school lunches
  • Support the catering team with daily food service and hygiene standards
  • Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality catering in a school environment
Key Requirements
  • Experience in a catering or kitchen assistant role (school or similar environment preferred)
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and safety procedures
  • A team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Hours of Work
  • 12.5 hours per week, Term Time Only (38 weeks/year)
  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 11.00am - 1.30pm
  • Wednesday: 10.30am - 1.00pm
