Qualifications

• Must have worked as a caretaker in a UK school for more than six months within the last year.
• Must be able to demonstrate recent, relevant school caretaker experience.
• Practical experience with site maintenance, security and general upkeep.
• Understanding of school health and safety procedures.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
• A commitment to safeguarding and site security.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs within competence.
• Opening and securing the school site as required.
• Checking that school premises are safe and presentable.
• Reporting maintenance issues and health and safety concerns.
• Supporting deliveries, room setups and site-related tasks.
• Following school procedures for security and access.

Essential Requirements:

• Must have worked as a caretaker in a UK school for more than six months within the last year
• Must be able to demonstrate recent, relevant school caretaker experience
• Practical experience with site maintenance, security and general upkeep
• Understanding of school health and safety procedures
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently
• A commitment to safeguarding and site security
