Job summary

Aspire People is working with a primary school in Manchester, Greater Manchester, seeking a reliable School Caretaker to maintain the cleanliness, safety and upkeep of the premises. The role is full-time and long term, with a potential Temp to Permanent opportunity.

The position includes a split shift from 7am to 3pm, negotiable. An Enhanced DBS check (update service) and Education Workforce Council application are required, along with two referees for references.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a caretaker or maintenance role is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the building and grounds are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
