Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting a Site Manager/Caretaker for a primary school in South Manchester. The role covers cleaning, safety, and upkeep of the premises with hours from 7am-3pm, negotiable. Experience in caretaking and basic maintenance is desirable; DBS and safeguarding checks are required.

The successful candidate will monitor security, manage waste, and report hazards promptly, ensuring a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity.

About the Role

We at Aspire People are delighted to announce we are now working alongside a primary school in South Manchester who are seeking a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our premises. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a commitment to providing a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. Working hours 7am-3pm but negotiable.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the building and grounds are clean, safe, and well-maintained.


• Carry out minor repairs and basic maintenance tasks.

Skills & Experience
