Caretaker

Full-time / 52 weeks year (plus annual leave)

Starting salary: Grade D (£25,185 pa)

We are looking for a dedicated Caretaker for our site in the heart of Leamington Spa. The post is for 37 hours per week, all year round. Annual leave starts at 21 days per year plus Bank Holidays. The job requires a split shift pattern as follows: 7.00am-10.00am and then 2.00pm-6.30pm (finishing at 6.00pm on Fridays).

We are looking for somebody to ensure that our school is secure, well maintained and safe for students and staff by handling tasks such as locking and unlocking buildings, performing minor repairs and maintenance, helping to manage cleaning staff, conducting health and safety checks and supervising contractors on site. The role requires physical fitness, a practical approach to problem solving, an understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to work independently.
