The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the school premises, conducting repairs, and ensuring safety protocols. Ideal candidates should have key handling experience and a strong work ethic. A full enhanced DBS check is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a caretaker in a school is desired.
• Be physically fit and able to work at height or in confined spaces.
• A full enhanced DBS is required for this role, which can be completed through ourselves.

Responsibilities

• Care for the premises and report any defects.
• Key Handling.
• Repairs and Maintenance.
• Setting up exam halls.
• Liaise with external contractors regarding repairs.

Overview

The Education Specialists are looking for an experienced School Caretaker to join one of our Liverpool schools on a full time basis.

Responsibilities

• Care for the premises, their service contents, and to report any defects to the Leader of Premises; this shall include the checking of the security of the premises when on duty and informing the police of any trespassers on the school.
• Key Handling
• Repairs and Maintenance
• Setting up exam halls
• Liaise with external contractors regarding repairs
• Application of health and safety procedures
• Fire Alarm testing
• Painting and Decorating the school grounds
• Basic Administration skills
• Maintaining the school grounds

Qualifications / Ideal Candidate

• Key Handling experience
• Experience working as a caretaker in a school is desired
• Ability to work alone as well as part of a team
• Be physically fit and able to work at height or in confined spaces
• A strong work ethic

A full enhanced DBS is required for this role, which can be completed through ourselves.
