Job summary

EANI is seeking a Catering Assistant to actively participate in the daily operation of the Catering Unit under the direction of the Senior/Unit Catering Supervisor, ensuring hygienic service and customer satisfaction.

You will assist with food preparation, basic cooking, serving meals to pupils, maintaining the dining area, and adhering to legal requirements while supporting central kitchen operations and promoting sales.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Basic preparation of food and beverages, including vegetables and snacks.
• Simple cooking and reconstitution of prepared food.
• Organising and controlling food service points.
• Transferring and serving meals and snacks.
• Assisting with promotion of meals to pupils, parents and principals.
• Maintaining contact with central kitchen regarding service delivery.
• Prepare dining area: set tables, arrange cutlery and water jugs.
• Clean and tidy kitchen and dining areas; wash up and clear away equipment.
