Job summary

Education Authority is seeking a part-time Building Supervisor (with supervision) to oversee security, cleaning, and general building operations across school premises. The role includes opening/closing, supervising staff, and ensuring safety and compliance with policy.

The ideal candidate has experience as a building supervisor or caretaker in a school, is a key holder, and can respond to call-outs, with knowledge of Health and Safety requirements for school environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months’ experience as assistant or building supervisor in a school.
• Experience supervising staff.
• Be a key holder and available for callouts.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations relevant to the role.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the premises and ensure security.
• Supervise cleaning and caretaking staff as appropriate.
• Maintain security systems and report faults to management.
• Prepare premises for after-hours use and events.
